With his office on the campus of the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, california, Dr. McLucas caters to women of all ages. As a Gynecologist, he also specializes in uterine artery embolization--non-surgical treatment for symptomatic uterine fibroids. He and his team at the Fibroid Treatment Collective were the first to perform the procedure in the United States, over 12 years ago. Uterine artery embolization, unlike traditional surgical procedures, is minimally invasive, involves a very short recovery time, and enables preservation of fertility.
